Born and raised in South America and fluent in English and Spanish, Bob started his career at UBS in Chicago and New York, managing Fortune 500 lending relationships. He later served as CFO at QRI Group in Houston, helping grow the company from seven million to sixty-seven million in revenue. But the thread was never the transactions. It was always the person on the other side of the table who needed someone to make the numbers make sense. Bob is also a man of faith and family. He is a proud husband and father, grandfather to seventeen, including two adopted, and recently became a great-grandfather. He poured years into the Boy Scouts of America as a District Commissioner and staffed the first all-Spanish Wood Badge course in the country. He has served on the Board of the Rotary Club of Houston. And at seventy, he decided he wanted the stamina to keep up with his grandchildren for years to come, so he walked out his front door and started running. The early runs were humbling, he could barely jog for a few minutes. But he did what he does with every problem: he put structure around it. A year later, he has logged over seven hundred miles and placed third in his age group at the Houston Rodeo Run, a field of twelve thousand five hundred. He runs the same loop through his neighborhood and knows every crack in the sidewalk, every dog that barks, every stretch where the shade disappears.
